According to realtor.com, there are currently 777 homes listed for sale in Castle Rock, with a median listing price of $148 per square foot.
The Local Market Update provided by the Denver Metro Association of Realtors shows that in December 2018 there were 287 active single family listings with 109 under contract to sell. There were 138 single family sales in December with a median sales price of $465,000 and an average of 57 days on the market. Homes sold for an average of 99.2% of listing price.
In a year-to-date comparison, single family sales totaled 1,803 through the end of December 2018, a 4.3% increase from 2017 with a 4.9% increase in median price.
Castle Rock condo and townhouse sales were down 17.5% in 2018 in comparison with 2017, for a total of 288 closings in 2018. The 2018 median sales price for condos and townhouses was $325,000, a 6.7% increase from 2017.
